EASTERN BLUEBIRD

ASTRID LINDGRENS VÄRLD
In my work at Astrid Lindgrens Värld I was partially working as a stage technician, but also as a propmaker. Apart from working with repairing objects, and creating environments on specific themes, I was asked to create a collection of animals for the centerpiece of the harvestmarket.

WARNING FOR CANDLES
You are now approaching an area where wild candles are common, beware of great smells and cozy atmospheres. This is a sign made for Nhoj - the candlemaker on the back of Valentia Island, Co. Kerry.

STEPSTOOL
A little stool, or a pall as it's called in Swedish, created during my time in Ireland earlier this year. I really love sitting on those @ikea stools, but the only @ikea in the republic of Ireland is a 5 hour one way drive from Valentia Island. The @ikea stool also lacks a third step.
Created using the wooden frame from the couch we sat on as kids and spare wood from a window sill.

DICETOWER
I built a dice tower so I never have to roll my dice again like some loser without a dice tower. Well, apart from that little distance in the beginning into said dice tower.
SWORDS FOR DEIRDRE
When I was little I gave my Auntie Deirdre a wooden sword for Christmas. I didn't realise she has had it by her front door ever since - to protect herself from evil spirits and wicked men. At one point I think it was used to brace a plant, but I'll overlook that. So I made Deirdre a new, stronger, superior sword - to protect herself from evil spirits and wicked men.

THE FALL OF MAN
This is a "sculpture" I made whilst studying environmental ethics, I chose to focus on the concept deep time, and quickly realized that humanity is nothing but a virus on the face of the earth, when we humans inevitably go extinct the planet will slowly but surely flourish once again.

SNAIL
This was amongst the first projects I did at HDK, it shows the simple life of a snail and the hardships of being a little guy in a big world. I wanted to work in 3D without involving video, creating a sort of comic strip. Beneath you can find a few excerpts of the project.

A POTRAITO OF MY FATHER
Being that my Father is Irish I found no better root vegetable to capture his essence and persona than a potato, sometimes you just have to embrace the joke. I present to you the potato portrait.

CURSE OF THE COLLECTOR
A photographic composition of a collection of paraphernalia I gathered together in my childhood home.
